Take a timeout with friends and family in the most popular region of Gran Canaria

You would be hard-pressed indeed to find any other place in the world where you have 340 days of sunshine, almost never a day of rain and temperatures that consistently range between 24 and 32 degrees Celsius all year round.

This is the paradise where our Villa Meloneras Sunset is located.

The sandy beach at Playa Meloneras

Restaurant terraces by the sea

Coastal avenue leading to the Maspalomas lighthouse

Privacy within your own four walls two terraces

Our Meloneras Sunset establishment is located in the residential complex Bahia Meloneras II above Playa Meloneras.

Relaxation at the large panoramic pool of the complex

The Bahia II complex has its own pool area with children’s pool and whirlpool.

Designed to be reminiscent of a small village, the Bahia II overlooks the Atlantic.

Security personnel, gardeners and caretaker services ensure cleanliness and safety.

The dimensions of the complex ensure that you never have to feel you are in a crowd even when it is at full capacity. On many mornings, you will be alone as you swim your lengths in the pool. And when you leave the pool in the evening, you can still enjoy a fantastic view of the Atlantic.

Playa Meloneras, a small romantic bay shortly before you reach the Pasito Blanco marina, is only a 5-minute walk away. Enjoy the convenience of the shopping centre with a supermarket and several restaurants, cafés and bars. A bus stop and taxi rank are right in front of the complex.

Avenue to Maspalomas

The walk along the coastal avenue leading to the Maspalomas lighthouse is a special experience. The coastal walkway winds along the sea, past the terraces pulsating with music and the spas and restaurants that open onto the sea before continuing to the Meloneras shopping district.

Meloneras Boulevard

Packed with designer shops, jewellers and upmarket boutiques, it is a shopper’s paradise, and you can enjoy a fabulous meal here as well. There are shopping centres, restaurants, cafés and bars offering delights from all corners of the world on the promenade. The choice of international dishes and places to sit and enjoy the beautiful sunset is infinite. From there, it is only a stone’s throw to the Maspalomas lighthouse where the famous dune landscape and kilometres of sandy beaches begin. At night, the boulevard of Meloneras is brilliantly illuminated. There are a number of fantastic restaurants where you can watch the sunset while you enjoy a glass of wine and the live music in the background. Meloneras offers a more exclusive nightlife than in Playa del Inglés.

Bahia II is more than just a holiday resort. It is the ideal home for your holiday, situated in a quiet spot above the beach. To the right, the marina and golf course; to the left, the luxury shopping boulevards of Meloneras. Little notice is taken of this location in the standard travel guides. This is where Gran Canaria’s new tourism concept begins, saying farewell to hotel fortresses and mass tourism. And this is where the holiday paradise of Meloneras Bahia is located. The nearby Meloneras golf course is one of the most beautiful in the south of the island. Or simply stop the clocks and let yourself float, maybe even ride a wave....
